Having your own profile page is a great resource in a community network. Each profile page allows you to upload your own content in the main text box, create a slideshow photo album, and keep track of all of your activity. Friends can leave comments on your page and you can read about your own friends activity.
One of the first things you can do to create a custom profile page is to upload a photo of yourself or some other favorite image. Just click 'settings' in the upper right corner of your page and you will be taken to a page with all of your personal information that was given when you signed up.
You will see the generic network photo at the top and a 'browse' button. Your profile photo needs to be square, otherwise it will crop the image. If you don't know how to edit your photo you can email it to us and we will fix it and send it back to you. Click the browse button and go to your 'my photos' file on your computer or whatever image file you have set up - click the picture you want to upload and then it will automatically load it.
Sometimes if a picture file is too big it will not show properly so be sure to optimize your photo in a photo editor for the best size and quality. I always try to crop my pictures or resize them to 200x200 whenever I am uploading a photo for a profile page and this size works good for 'group' photos as well.
It is always nice to see the faces of those whom we are in community with!
